2019 USİM WARS
At USIM, which has been hosting trainings to improve medical education with an innovative vision since 2016, the first of the medical simulation wars was organized in 2019 for the first time in Turkey. 6 different teams from 6 different universities participated in the project, which was supported within the scope of the “TUBITAK 4004 Education of Nature and Science Schools Program”. The competitions are organized in three sections, in March, April and May, in a way that 4-5-6th year medical students can participate. With this organisation , it is aimed to spread the concept of “Simulator Training” among universities and to improve students’ problem solving skills by gaining experience before meeting real patients.
2020 USİM WARS
The second Uludag Medical Simulation Wars – the first one was organized in 2019- was organized in August, 2020. 21 different universities participated in the project, which is supported within the scope of the “TÜBİTAK 4004 Education of Nature and Science Schools Program”. Thus, larger masses were reached compared to the previous year. The competitions are organized in 3 stages and in a way that 6th grade medical students can participate. With this organisation , it is aimed to spread the concept of ” Simulator Training” among universities and to improve students’ problem solving skills by gaining experience before meeting real patient.
